Call to Workshop Instructors

Quilting for Community is expanding the types of creative learning experiences we offer to the San Fernando Valley. We are seeking workshop proposals for 3hr or 4hr sessions anytime from July-December 2024.

Q4C design center features:

  • 10 tables with sewing machines

  • one 4’ x 8’ cutting table 

  • One 30” x 8’ conference table 

  • One 16ft design wall  

  • A pantry with microwave, coffee and tea makers 

  • Two bathrooms, one utility sink

  • Fabric Thrift Store 

  • On-site parking and street parking are available

  • Q4C is a ½ mile from Chatsworth train station

Examples of suitable workshops include:

  • Sewing related projects & techniques: embroidery, beadwork

  • Quilting Techniques

  • Dyeing, Batik

  • Fiber arts (not felting)

  • Jewelry making, beadwork, leather
